Fragrance Review: Ferragamo Incanto Charms

I’ve never been a fan of florals, but a little fruity thrown into the mix changes everything — Ferragamo Incanto Charms has got the amalgamation of scents down pat in a fun, sweet and still fresh fragrance.
Despite the saccharine scent, Charms doesn’t fail to keep you smelling clean and dainty, sans the cloying and nauseating smell.
At first, I thought it would smell too floral — something that my aunt would wear — but it reminded me more of spontaneous summer night exploits with friends with a soft jasmine base scent and an undertone of passion fruit.
This review came at a perfect time as my regular perfume (Bench’s Eau Baby) was running out. I took Charms for a spin on a regular school day (not that school days are anything regular). I went to school, ran a few interviews for my school paper before my Theology class. After classes I caught up with a friend, went to the dermatologist, and then went home to do some schoolwork before watching a movie in bed and finally dozing off. I have to admit, there were still hints of it even after I showered. Incanto Charms is a pretty all-around fragrance.
Packaging
I loved the color! It was apt for how it actually smelled. If the scent had a color, it would definitely be these blue and pink candy hues. The box was okay, but the bottle’s slim shape made it easy to slip into my school bag. Handy!
Day to night
It was strong at first spray, but it mellows out and sustains until dusk. By nighttime, you’ll still smell great.
Spray again?
Yes, you’ll need to reapply about twice throughout the day, but that’s actually it. Charms stays on, and if you want just a hint of fruity floral by the evening, it’s going to do the job. Only overload on the perfume when going out at night!
I’d recommend Charms for a girl who’s looking for a summery scent that can go glam. They say it’s perfect for the spring/summer seasons, but who says you can’t wear your florals during the cooler days? While many suppose that the rainy season would wilt away and dampen one’s spirits, I personally would love to be in full bloom.
